SUMMER - it is here, and it has been a crazy year - record heat, floods, oh my gosh! and if winter is anything like summer, here is hoping we are in for some record snowfall!
Convention 2025 was fun in Palm Springs, June 12-15, at the Riveria Hotel. Silent auction raised a lot of funds which will be used for various donations that FWSA works with, and there were some fun packages. Pub Crawl was great, as always.
Many of the LAC clubs ALREADY have their 2025-26 Mammoth and other ski and adventure trips set. As always, I will post a list in the website and email it out in case you find yourself looking for a ski trip or two over the winter.

The LAC meeting is held on the first Monday, on the following months via Zoom (because your president lives in Idaho now): September (Monday after labor day) [to put information out on upcoming ski trips]; November [to celebrate holidays & advise of upcoming local or other ski trips]; February [to get ready for the rent of 2026]

Ski trips
Our clubs 2025-26 ski trips - bus and drive up - to Mammoth and other great venues are posted under Trips. There are already lots of them and the week-long trips are listed too. Mammoth Mountain Ski Area has more snow than it knows what to do with so go skiing and we hope this coming winter will again offer up legendary snowfall.

Convention 2026: San Diego, I expect a lot of LAC clubs in attendance. June (dates?) at the Marriott San Diego New flyer in the works!
