Winter is here! Most of the best mountains have snow, so it is time to go skiing.
Los Angeles Council (LAC) is headed to Banff, BC at end of January, 2025, to ski at SKIBIG3 that they mean it up there. See the flyer under Trips. And ALL the Clubs ski and adventure trips are in the Snowscene and under Upcoming Trips here.
Convention 2025 will be in Palm Springs, June 12-15, at the now Riveria Hotel (formerly Margaritaville). Again silent auction - with some great trips, great speakers, fun events, with more info to come. See the flyer below on this page.

LAC Meetings
The LAC meeting is held on the first Monday, on the following months via Zoom (because your president lives in Idaho now): August (Maybe) [to put information out on upcoming ski trips]; November [to celebrate holidays & advise of upcoming local or other ski trips]; February [Volunteer of Year award, and for the Convention in Palm Springs 2025; and to start on next year’s board of directors]; April {for Board nominations – President, Treasurer, Secretary, VP Programs] May – Installation of new officers. We hope you will join us.
Ski trips
Our clubs 2024-25 ski trips - bus and drive up - to Mammoth and other great venues are posted under Trips. Take a look, there are already lots of them and the week-long trips are listed too. Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort has more snow than it knows what to do with so go skiing while it is a legendary year to snow in the Sierras.
Convention
Convention 2025: Palm Springs, CA so I expect a lot of LAC clubs in attendance. June 12-15 at the Riveria Hotel (formerly Margaritaville). Silent Auction, Pub Crawl in downtown; Sports Leadership Academy and the Saturday Dinner Dance.
